Scarlett & Sam’s story is out in the wild! Yayyy!!! Oh, I’m feeling all the things. I’m so excited to share SWEETHEART with the world because I love it SO much! So nervous (as always). And yet, determined to try and put the book out there anyway (which makes me think of Scarlett <3).
I can’t even tell you my favorite part–I loved everything! Scarlett’s hilarious thoughts (that she sometimes spoke out loud ha!), the Sam Bishop’s flirtatious/funny/confident/kind nature, how every time they kissed it was fire, how the chemistry was undeniable, the kissing lessons, the opening scene/chapters! The Kent cousins!!!! Character crossovers including what is now one of my all-time favorites (which also has some of my all-time favorite characters ;))! Sadie & Colton <333! The twins, Betty & Bennet! Betty senior! Just…everything.
If you love YA romance, fake dating, forced proximity, lists, kissing lessons, jock x good girl, LOL banter, and friends-to-lovers, I hope you’ll love SWEETHEART!

I had so much fun writing Scarlett & Sam’s story! Their chemistry is off the charts, and there are so many hilarious and heartfelt moments! I’ll talk more about it soon, but…there’s a list of “firsts”, fake dating, kissing lessons, character cameos from other books, and tons of heart sparkles!

I can’t believe their story is actually out in the wild. I love them so much. Dex’s sarcasm, his cockiness, his strength and vulnerabilities, the loyalty he has for his family (had so much fun writing the O’Brien family scenes!) and the people he loves. Maisie’s fierceness, her sass, her tough exterior and soft heart, the loyalty she has for her sister (sidenote: I love Lola!) and the people she loves. They’re both scarred, imperfect, and wonderful. I loved writing their story and watching them fall in love so naturally, so deeply.
I truly hope this story brings so much love and laughter.

I can’t believe Charlotte & Bo’s story is out in the world! They’ve been living in my head and on my computer screen–and now, they’re finally here! I’m crossing my fingers and toes in hopes that people will love this little YA romance. My mom keeps telling me how funny it is (which I appreciate more than she can possibly know!), so hopefully the book will make someone laugh, give a bit of an escape, and just put some love into the world.
The swoony bits were my favorite parts to write. <3
I love how Bo felt so much beneath all the frowns and iciness. I love how Charlotte was determined to choose happiness. My other favorite parts were: the banter, Mrs. Lee, Scarlett, the friendships, character crossovers, library scenes, and of course, Lottie’s love of books.

This book, you guys! Oh, I love it so much! June & Baylor’s story is one that I hope touches readers’ hearts. The swoon factor is at like 1000 lol–but seriously, Baylor is just…wonderful. Some of the things he does and thinks are just so romantic. June is my girl (well, she’s Baylor’s, but she’s mine too :)). I love her. I love how she’s so herself, how she knows what (and who) she wants, how she pines and loves Baylor, her best friend’s brother. And I love how Baylor loves her back–even though she’s supposed to be off limits. <3
I’m probably not doing this right. As I write this, I’m going on very little sleep ha. But I love this book!

This cover makes my eyes smile every time. I’ve wanted to write June & Baylor’s story ever since I had the idea for the O’Brien Brothers years ago. June is so in love with Bay. She has been for years, and the way she pines for him, her best friend’s brother, just pulls at my heartstrings (and I hope it pulls at yours too <3). And I am so in love with Baylor. He’s cocky yet lovable, beautiful yet flawed, determined to deny his feelings for June and yet…unable to deny his heart. I love her; I love him; I love them together. And I hope, hope, hope readers will love their story.
